Chamena and her guard walked down the expansive hallways of Block D, the muzzle fitted snugly over her mouth. She sighed, linking her arm through his as they walked. He looked over and smiled gently, patting her hand.
"Don't worry, love. After you eat and we're back in your room, you can take the muzzle off. I know you hate it." She looked up, guilt flooding her heart. Pausing before the door of the Cafeteria, she pulled on her guard's arm and pointed at her muzzle. "What is it? You want to say something?" She nodded, scratching at the lock on the back of the muzzle's straps. Her guard looked around anxiously, then pulled a key out of his back pocket. "Alright, just make it quick alright? I don't want to get in trouble..." He unlocked the straps, pulling it off her face.
"Thank you. I just wanted to apologize for bullying you earlier. You've treated me so well, compared to the other guards, and I just attack you... And I don't even know your name!" He laughed, shrugging.
"Hey, I've lasted longer than all of your other guards from the sounds of things. I figured kindness would work better with you." She flung her arms around his waist, clinging tightly to his shirt.
"You're the kindest guard I've met. You're keeping me stable! I haven't had any of those... Urges since you started taking care of me." He smiled, stroking her hair.
"That's alright, love. Come on, let's get you that food. Oh, and my name's Prion." He gently fitted the muzzle back over her mouth, then led her into the Cafeteria.

"The guards?" Puck shrugged, "It all depends on where you go, man! We're in Cell Block B, so the guards here are pretty good at keeping a look out for us. Take our guard for example, Oberon- that fairy that let me in- I bet that guy has a second pair of eyes. Always knows where I am..." Puck let out an irritated sigh, before he pointed his finger downward. "Below us is Cell Block A- you'll often hear folks call those inmates the Rotten."
"Anyway, those guards in Block A are also pretty good, but a lot of them don't take things seriously since those inmates are nowhere near as dangerous or wild as us. And now," Puck pointed his finger to the ceiling, "A few floors above us is Cell Block C. This is where we get dangerous. Those inmates are Morbid, pretty violent folks who are mostly insane. The guards up there are trained to handle them so they're pretty tough. Tougher than the ones down here."
Puck nodded to himself, as if confirming what he said. "But then we got the worse of them all. Cell Block D. That block is located a bit closer to the top. I've never actually gone there myself. Don't want to try, if you ask me. That's were the put the more frightening folks. The guards placed with those inmates are the toughest and bravest ones here." Puck put down his finger and placed both arms behind his head, all while still staring at the ceiling. "So yeah, the guards are pretty tough, especially if you try going higher up. And then you got a bunch of them just standing around. At night it's not any better either. They got these Hell Hounds sniffing and growlin' around at night. Freaky little bastards if you ask me."
"What else..."Puck kicked his feet, making it look like he was doing a strange little dance. "Oh right!" Puck said, jumping into the air and levitating so that he was eye-to-eye with Shard. "Two big, BIG things to look out for here! One, the Prison Warden- Cerberus. He's the head honcho of the guards. Unless you want to risk losing your head in the Arena, don't taunt him. A big guy like you wouldn't even be able to take him on. And TWO, and this one is the biggest." Puck paused for effect.
"The Head Hunters. Be careful 'bout those guys. They're 9 inmates who work for the Asylum Head, the real one in charge of this place! They're supposedly the worse of the bunch, more dangerous than you, me, or anyone on Cell Block D. It's said that if you, somehow, step foot outside this building- one of them will be out there and," Puck got extra close into Shard's face for this line, "they will kill you."
After a few seconds of silence, Puck pulled himself back and proceeded to relax himself: putting his arms behind his head and crossing his legs, making it look like he was sitting down while levitating. "That all? I can go on all day, bud."
(Who's up for changing Puck's name to "Mr. Exposition?")

(Oh Puck, you big mouth you, haha)
"Aha, I see then!" Shard replied, as he had been enraptured by the explanation, nodding after the big points. "Looks like they really do have what it takes. Especially dem Head Hunter Honchos. I'd like to meet those hellhounds too, see what they're like." He stroked at his chin, taking it all in and giving the place a final assessment.
"I know you can go all day buddy, but we can't let ourselves get bored right away either. We'll leave the sightseeing for a lazier day. Though just one other question though. Ever heard of them letting go of other prisoners? Like on good behaviour? I mean, sounds like Block A would be mostly come and go." He was honestly curious, since if there's an incentive to be good it would be strategic to start laying low and build up the good karma. If there's no way out though, then it's time to start hatching the big plans.

"Midori huh? Pretty name," Lilli smiled and continued eating her food.
"Sorry about Lilliana Miss Gorgon, but you know that fey are curious and talkative by nature, Pari especially so, as they usually live in large groups." Ryu sighed before giving a look to his charge to hurry up so that they could leave before Lilliana decided to start talking to the other inmates.
Lilli looked up at her guard and sighed, she quickly finished off her food. "Maybe I'll see you later little Midori. Be safe and don't let the Hell Hounds bite." She then stood up and put her tray. As she was starting to leave she stiffened a bit as she saw one of the Cell Block D inmates at the door. Lilli walked by quickly with Ryu on her heels as she got on the elevator to go back to her cell.

Chamena glanced around as she entered the cafeteria. Of course, the Pari was already running away. Typically, the poor dear just couldn't stand to get wet... A new arrival caught her eye, a young woman in a dirty pink kimono. Now I wonder what she could be? Doesn't seem all that dangerous, which means I'll probably never get to know... She followed Prion into the line, holding the food tray delicately in front of her. A hush had fallen over the place as everyone watched her warily.
"It's a shame you can never eat with anyone else. Means I can't really socialize with the other guards without leaving you be." She nodded, her eyes settling on one of the food servers.
"Hey thur, li'l miss Siren! Come for your dose of nasty sea critturs? I've got duh slimiest uns joost for yez!" The fat Oread guffawed at her, chopping up a serving of chicken. She lowered her eyelids, letting a smile fill them as she hummed softly. His eyes grew dreamy as his attention turned to her, causing him to miss the fowl and cut deep into his own finger. She snagged her portion of fish while he bellowed a curse, cheerfully striding across the room, away from everyone, to settle into a seat.
"Chamena, was that necessary?" Prion sighed, plopping down next to her. She nodded extensively.

"Lilliana," Midori mumbled the name. It was also quite pretty. She didn't have time to continue talking to the imprisoned fairy, for she quickly left with her guard. "Oh...Uh...Bye Miss Lilliana!" Midori waved. Was it normal for strangers to just say hi like that? She was just thrown into this place, she didn't know the customs. The creatures around here were nothing like the ones back home. Not at all.
"Um...Miss Gorgon, I think I'll be fine now. I can get in line by myself," Midori said, facing the Naga with the best smile she could muster. "Fine, just don't go causing trouble. And don't call me 'Miss', I'm only 60- I'm still a young adult to other Nagas." Gorgon explained, petting Midori on the head. Midori almost flinched at the contact, the feeling of someone else's hand sending shivers down her spine.
"I'll wait for you by the elevator to escort you back to your cell." With that, Gorgon left the young demon. Midori let out a sigh, happy that nothing has harmed her. Yet.
Of course, as poor timing would have it, she could feel something moving at the back of her head. Her bun started to trying to untie itself, she could feel a couple locks already falling out. "S-s-stop it..." Midori commanded, reaching behind her to try and tie her hair back, but to no avail. As she struggled, one of her long, free hair locks slowly started slithering around the floor of the cafeteria. Since Midori's hair was only about 10 ft, twice as long as Midori was talll, it could only reach so much. So it went for the first thing it saw.
Seeing the fish that was about to be eaten by the Siren, the green hair snuck under the table and quickly snagged it from her hand. Quickly dragging it along the dirty floor, the fish was quickly brought back to the back of Midori's head. Suddenly, in front of all who can see, the fish was quickly devoured by what could only be called a Second Mouth.
Midori's eyes widened in fear as she heard the sound of chewing. It was such a frightening sound. It felt like she was the one eating, but she knew she wasn't. Stricken with fear, Midori's extremely long hair was left to fall, the large ribbon used to hold it together falling with it, revealing the Second Mouth which was eating the fish.

Puck let out a small "Hah" as if he was trying to dismiss Shard's question as a joke. "Yeah, if by 'letting go' you mean 'downright slaughtering'! Listen, man, ain't no inmate has ever been 'let go.' You'll find folks up in Cell Block C who've been around since this place has been built! Yup, the only way you'll be leaving this place is if the doctors chopped you up and threw your parts into the ocean!"
Puck let out a dark chuckle, "That is, if you're lucky of course. Be thankful those brats got to your wings before the doctors did, Shard. I once heard that they took this Block A harpy boy down to the operating rooms below. When Birdboy came back to his cell- his wings were burned off, both of them. Harpy's are useless without their wings, so poor guy was easy pickings for the guards who just like to bully Rottens for fun."
Puck slowly let himself back onto the ground. "As for me- as long as I don't kill anyone, I can pretty much do anything to anyone! That's the joys of being Cell Block B. Be lucky you're not in Cell Block A, man. Because they don't last too long there."

A teenage girl was walking through the halls of Hollow Asylum, a guard on either side of her as they took her to the elevator. Going up she went up a few floors before a lifeless voice said "You have reached Cell Block B." She got of of the elevator and passed by a cell with what looked like a gargoyle and sandman talking to each other about something she didn't care about.
After walking for about 50 more feet she came up to a man wearing a lab coat and mask. "You must be Ayaka, the one who gave herself up" he said, his voiced muffled by the mask he wore, before he looked for any signs of distress from being in such a warm and humid environment.
"I am, and you can stop looking at me like that, I'm fine in warm weather." Ayaka started twirling her hair around around her finger, a nervous habit, waiting to be told where to go.
"I see, anyway you seem to be in luck and get to have your own cell for a while. You know the one right guards? Take her there," he then turned away and started to do something else.
The guards took her to her cell, which was right across for the two she saw talking earlier. The guards opened the door and before pushing her inside slapped a bracelet onto her arm. "What is this for?" she asked confused.
"To keep your powers in check, use them while that's on and you'll get one hell of a shock" they laughed and slammed the cell door shut, locking it before leaving to do something else. Another guard walked up to her cell, before saying "My name is Lina, and I will be your guard while your here. Do you have any questions?"
"Yes I do actually. Is there somewhere I can get something to eat?" she said biting her lip after she asked hoping that there was, as she hadn't eaten in three days.
"There is, follow me" she unlocked the cell and led her to the elevator to go down to the cafeteria. When they got down there Ayaka saw another girl in a kimono, just as the mouth on the back of her green haired head swallowed whatever it was eating. All Ayaka could do was say "futakuchi-onna" in a whispered voice and stare at the woman.

Chamena stared in shock at the Two Mouthed Woman as it devoured her fish. What in the gods' names was that?!? She started to rise, only to see that... Thing start fighting with her hair.
"Chamena, don't." Prion pressed down on her shoulder. She sank back down, watching the girl with curiosity. Feeding the last bit of her fish through her muzzle, she propped her chin on her hands. Waiting, just waiting...

Shard may have finally cashed in his reality check after what Puck told him. Experiments! He held his head down in a moment of silence for the damned creatures that have gotten their wings clipped in this putrid hole. He knew first hand the shame that came with losing something so precious to your being. "Well then," he said in the same loud voice as always, crossing his arms. "It'd be an understatement to say that that put a damper on things. But you've gone along pretty well, though. I hate to admit it, but I didn't want to get used to the place. Looks like I'll have to find me a more realistic hobby."
So he had a grudge! Big deal. He's only ever messed with the people that refused to help him. Which happened to be a lot, but still. It was practically exile by cage, and he still had eighty years of lifespan ahead of him! And he has a journey to attend to, now practically impossible! Would his clan miss him? Oh who was he kidding, of course they wouldn't. The outside world didn't need him anymore, so he'd just have to get past that. On to bigger things.
"So what's your idea of fun?" he said, giving Puck a large smirk.

Puck laughed, "I'm so glad you asked!" He was about to explain, but something caught his eye. Turning his head around, he saw the guards bring in a new inmate. A young, blue haired demon girl. "Haha, she's cute~ We need more girls like that on this floor." Puck said with a dirty grin before turning his attention back to Shard.
"Well because I'm in Block B, the guards can't really 'punish' me unless I kill someone. So I like to sneak out of the cell and just fool around with everyone. Pulling pranks and being an ass are just my hobbies. And plus, they can't keep me locked up even if they chained me! Watch this," Puck jumped back, fazing through the cell bars like it was nothing. "See, being a Sandman comes with a lot of perks." He said with a smug grin. "Now you may be wondering why I just don't faze out of this hell hole. Well, one- I actually like it here! And two, we're on an island- I can't swim and I can only levitate for so long. Besides, the Head Hunters would probably get to me before I can do anything."
"Puck, get back to your cell before the guards get pissy!" yelled one inmate from the cell next to them. "Pfft- yeah, yeah." Puck shrugged, going through the bars and back into the cell.
"So yeah, I basically spend my days causing trouble around here."
"Too much damn trouble if you ask me!" hollered another inmate. "You don't know what you got yourself into, Gargoyle. Your little cellmate there does nothing but piss everyone off! Last week, he somehow rigged the showers in the Male Community Bath to spew out the slop from the Cafeteria! I still smell like Mermaid barf and Ogre shit!"
"You're welcome." Puck said bluntly.

"Oh no, Oh no, Oh no!" Midori cried, turning around to pick up the ribbon. She was in such a panic she was struggling with looking for it, making her look extremely pathetic. It didn't help that her long hair was starting to move again, now aiming for more food from the other inmate tables.
"Yo, bitch, keep your hair off my meal!"
"What the fuck is that!?"
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" Midori found the ribbon and quickly picked it up. She could feel her Second Mouth chewing and swallowing more food. It was so disgusting, the feeling of something going down what might as well be a second throat into her stomach. Gathering her long hair, making sure that it wouldn't drag on the floor, Midori ran out of the cafeteria as fast as she could before anyone could continue yelling at her. She did happen to hear someone call her a "futakuchi-onna." That was in her native tongue- it meant "Two Mouthed Woman."
'No, no, NO. That's not what I am! I'm just a normal eastern demon, an oni, I'm nothing else but that!'
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry!" Midori cried out, tears falling down her cheeks. She ran past Gorgon who tried her best to stop her, "Midori, where are you going!?" the female Naga called out. She was going to constrict the young demon with her tail, but Midori was already in the elevator. "I-I'll be going back to my cell. I'm so sorry!"
Midori was too much in a panic, she simply pressed any random button she could find. As the door closed, she fell on her knees, head in her hands. "Why....Why? What are you!?" As she cried, a faint voice whispered.
'I'm you, of course...'

Lilli finally got back up to her cell block before she let out a sigh of relief. 'I bet that damn siren thinks that I'm a chicken now....' She sighed before she started to walk back to her cell. Half way back to her cell she heard the elevator ding again and when she turned back she saw the eastern demon from earlier breathing heavily as in a panic. "Midori! What are you doing up here? Are you trying to get yourself killed?!"
Lilli's voice had started to elevate, which caught the attention of Ryu who started to chide her, "Lilliana you have to calm down, other wise.....You! You shouldn't be up here go back to your cell block!" He yelled at Midori, keeping a tight hold on Lilliana's restraints.

Shard held in a laugh when the prisoner talked about Puck's prank, it was pretty funny if you asked him! And though it's obviously true he's pretty good at pissing everyone off (it could have always ended differently a while ago had Shard not backed away), he put a lot of value on the fact that he hasn't lost his personality in here. It was something to be admired! "After all, they put us here because we know we like trouble right? Who's to expect any different?" he said, backing up the other's case.
"That fazing though, now that's something real interesting. I just got this:" he paused as he put his hand in a fist, when it suddenly changed from grey-green skin to a deep black marble. He pulled his arm back, wound up the pitch, and punched straight at the bars, bending one pretty badly. "Shit, that one was a bit tough. Don't wanna be getting cracks in my knuckles," he said as he shook his hand out back into flesh form. "Injuries we get while we're awake get mostly healed in our stonesleep, but anything that happens in stonesleep is irreversible. But with you around, maybe I can get some of the rougher patches sanded down," he cajoled, ribbing at Puck's side just like he had to Shard earlier.

Chamena watched as the Two Mouthed Woman dashed out of the cafeteria, leaving chaos in her wake. Well well! That was incredibly entertaining! Hmm, now what can I do with her...? She popped back to her feet, giving the Cafeteria one last look-over. Her eyes settled on a blue-haired woman. Another new arrival? This day just keeps getting more and more exciting! I wonder what she is? She wandered over to the woman, giving her a once-over. She's pretty cute. I wonder what her type is? I bet she'd be fun to excite!
Prion noticed the look, grabbing one of the Siren's arms before smiling apologetically to the Snow Woman.
"Sorry miss, but this one's quite a bit of trouble."
