Name: Moortimier
Species: Tree Golem
Age: 180 years
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Appearance:
I'm cheating because I designed this guy forever ago, haha.
Reason for Being in Asylum: A few years ago he just snapped (pun extremely intended) and began destroying the homes of non-native forest dwellers.
Motivation: He feels personally responsible for protecting species he believes to be worthy of the forest by making sure there are no "outsiders" living in them.
Strengths: His tough outer bark sustains a lot of damage and his branches are very sharp. His roots/legs can grow to grab at someone's ankle and throw them around.
Weaknesses: Fire, bug-creatures, slow moving, and generally has slow reflexes.
Likes: Nature, forests, flora and fauna, birdwatching.
Dislikes: Creatures that don't "naturally" live in the forest, industrial growth, people who think they can outsmart mother nature.
Brief History:
Moortimier lived in relative peace in the largest forest of Sheol until one day he saw a gang of poachers move in to his grove's territory (I officially declare a grove to be a group of tree golems). He got together with the dryads, centaurs, and other native forest dwellers to expunge them and killed everyone at the campsite. Though the rest of the forest was satisfied, Moortimier wanted more blood and was looking down upon for doing so. He desperately wished to cleanse the forest of the creatures that were taking advantage of it, especially those who cut and burned down trees, took fruit and flowers, and even if they were travelling through and camping overnight. He relentlessly began to pick them off one by one, even decimating some towns that lived right on the edge of the forest.
He is so completely obsessed with his new calling that he has even accidentally killed allies of his, though he hardly regrets it, thinking that they didn't deserve to live in the forest if they weren't willing to protect it. He was sent to the asylum after an unsuccessful raid of a large mixed-creature treehouse community that were able to fight back with their nets, traps, and archery skills. Moortimier refused to back down, claiming that they would all be damned for intruding into his beloved forest.
