The Baths in the Asylum are Communal and separated by gender. Inmates in Cell Blocks A and B all share a Communal Bath located in Cell Block B. Cell Block C inmates have their own bath on their floor. Cell Block D inmates do not get baths unless they request one in their cells. The staff tries to keep it clean, but letting a bunch of monsters bathe in the same place doesn't ensure the most sanitary results.

Ayaka walked into the baths and found an empty shower stall. She stripped and stepped into the stall turning the water on. It was cold, but it didn't really bother her that much.
'I cannot believe the nerve of that female, wanting me to call her a queen. I could barley stand the females in my village, and they were polite.' She rinsed her hair out and let it fall down her back, the ends, which were normally a bright blue, were dulled to a blue-gray color by the water. 'I can't even shake off the water like I usually do because of this stupid bracelet' she sighed and turned off the water. Grabbing a towel she dried herself off as best as she could then got back into her kimono, which wasn't that dirty yet, and slowly walked back to the elevator to go back to her cell. She really hoped that the irritating female had decided to go somewhere else for a while, she really didn't want to see her again so soon.

[ENTER]
Gorgon lead the two girls out of the elevator and through the halls of Block B. Midori looked at the barred cells, curious about the inmates that lingered around or perhaps cleaning the halls. "This is where you'll be working." Gorgon stopped in front of an open doorway that had a female symbol painted on the side.
Walking in, Midori took note how the white tiles were a little cleaner looking than the halls- but there were smudge marks here and there, and definitely a strange smell. "I-is this how people from the West bathe?" she asked, looking at the shower heads, not understanding how water could come out of them. "We simply bathed in the river where I come from...Well, I got a bucket of water and had to dump it on me, but it's almost the same thing."

Meela shrugged, looking around the place for the first time herself.
"Pretty much. I mean, this place is marginally cleaner than the barracks back at the Base, but it's roughly the same." She paced a little, counting out tiles and examining the pipes. "It could be worse I guess."

"You're right, I was expecting it to be much dirtier than this." Midori said, running her hand down the tiled walls.
"That's because we don't allow anyone to stop cleaning until it's spotless," Gorgon said. They waited a few minutes for the rest of the Cleaning Team to get inside. There were now about 15 female inmates inside the large communal baths. Gorgon stood quietly as another female guard took control- a female demon with four arms. "Listen up! As always your job is the easiest job in this entire Asylum- clean the this bath, and make it spotless!" The demoness ordered in a loud booming voice. Two other female guards started passing out a small rag and water-filled buckets. "Now get cleaning! You are not allowed to dump out the water and you must only use ONE rag. I see any of you freaks helping each other, and I'll smash your face into the ground and use it to clean up all this crap!"
"Oh wow..." Midori shivered, already frightened by the giant demon. She held the bucket and rag tightly. "And you there, the one with the green hair!"
Midori's eyes widened as she looked around. To her dismay, she was the only one the room with green hair. "Y-y-y-y-yes ma'm?"
"Tie that hair of yours up before I chop it off for you!"
"Y-y-yes!"
Midori quickly put the bucket and rag town before reaching into her kimono to get her ribbon. "Um...Meela, would you mind helping me braid this? I don't think my...Other side would enjoy being hidden by the bun again."

Meela bit her tongue, resisting the urge to reply with a very military "Yes Ma'am". So many years of service really took their toll on the brain... She dropped her bucket and rag and took Midori's ribbon.
"Sure thing, hun. Just hold still and try to keep these lovely locks of yours from turnin' on me, 'kay?" She quickly braided the young demoness' hair, pulling a couple of strings from the rag to help secure it to her head. Once she was finished, the braid looped around Midori's head, leaving a tail that hung down to the middle of her back. "There, that should stay! Heh, maybe I should give up on aeronautics and become a hair dresser!"
She gently patted the girl on the back and grabbed her bucket and rag again, setting about scrubbing the walls. She repeatedly raised and lowered the bucket, working her arm as she scrubbed. I can't let myself get out of shape. Any workout I can get I'll take! Now, let's check out these pipes. If they're aluminum, or maybe even copper, that should be light enough to make Shard's wings and give me some raw material for tools.
Meela pulled herself up on top of one of the shower heads, shrinking herself to "reach some of the higher spots" without breaking anything. When she landed, she tapped the piping behind the shower head with a nail, listening to the sound it made. Aluminum, perfect! Then, there must be a redundancy system somewhere. She looked up while she scrubbed, spotting a few networks of pipes. One of them had to be a redundancy, but which one?

Midori ran her finger down the braid, surprised at how well done it was. "You're amazing, Meela. I only know how to tie my hair up in a bun, and even that's not easy..." Midori wasn't used to how long her hair grew in the past few months- it was already 10 ft long, definitely not normal even for a demon.
As Meela and the other girls went around to rub the rag on the floor, Midori followed quickly and got on her knees. Her kimono was getting dirtier, but she tried her best not to cry about it as she scrubbed the tiles. She expected the back of her head to start moving again, but as the minutes passed she was surprised that not even her hair budged. 'Is it because the four-armed guard threatened to cut my hair?'
Midori shook her head, refusing to think about it. If being threatened meant that she didn't have to deal with that 'thing', then she's happy. "Hey, Meela, how are you handling your end?" Meela asked as she damped her.

Meela reached up toward one of the pipes, feeling for the small quivering that signified a redundancy. Just as her fingers brushed the pipe, Midori's voice made her jump. She lost her balance on the shower head, dropping the bucket and rag and falling into the disgusting water. The icy water made her yelp, which flooded her mouth with the liquid. No no no no no no no!!! In her compressed size, the bucket was a good foot taller than her, making the surface that much harder to reach. She did everything she could to reach the edge of the bucket, forgetting in her panic that she could just expand her body to get out.
"H-Help! Someone g-get me out!" She screamed when she managed to surface again, flailing in the water. Oh gods, someone help me! I can't die like this!!

"Meela!" In shock, Midori stood up and ran to the bucket, quickly picking up the struggling gremlin from the water. "Are you okay!? I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to do that! Oh, please be okay!"
The other girls could be heard laughing at the scenario.
"Oh wow, I told you she would fall!"
"That's what you get for trying to mess with things."
"I bet the reason they placed her here was because they knew she could drown like an idiot."
"You'd think she would be smart enough to enlarge herself."
"And that green haired chick- isn't she the one who took the fish from the Siren?"
"Yeah, I heard she likes stealing food."
Midori chose to ignore their chatter and concentrated more on helping her new found friend. "I'm sorry, it's my fault you slipped. Please don't be mad!"

"Y-yeah, fine. Thanks hun." Meela managed to say between coughs. How embarrassing... Once she'd managed to get her breathing back to normal, she expanded herself back to her full height, wringing out her clothes. "It's not your fault, Mi. I shoulda braced myself with my tail. Well, this is why Gremlins are meant to fly, not swim!"
She shook herself off, grimacing as the lovely odor of bath much and gremlin musk reached her nose. Grabbing her rag and bucket once more, she strode over to the other girls who had been mocking her, watching with satisfaction as the gagged at her new perfume. Did they say that Midori caused that Siren to go nuts? Hm, this might just be the edge that I need, as a distraction and to get her some street cred. She plopped her bucket down, rapping it with the side of her tail to get the others' attention.
"Yeah, Midori over there is the one that made that Siren go ballistic. Maybe y'all should keep yer mouths shut, unless you wanna see those locks of hers rip your innards out for her to snack on! Don't let her soft demeanor fool ya, those Eastern demons sure can be nasty!" She looked over her shoulder at Midori and mouthed "look menacing".

Midori stared at Meela, not understanding what she meant by 'menacing.' The demoness was anything but menacing. 'Why would sure say that? I would never do that! I don't think even my hair would do that! But she's asking me...But why do I have to?' Midori stared at the floor, thinking of ways she could sound threatening.
"Uh," She fidgeted a bit before coughing, "Uh- roooar, that's right- I'm a scary oni from the East. Be careful or I may eat your face! Roar~?"

Everyone stared at the demoness for a few moments before cracking up, while Meela facepalmed.
"Oh for the love of-- Alright, fine then! How about this, y'all mess with either of us, and I'll set those lovely little bracelets most of y'all seem to be sporting to "kill" instead of "stun"! She growled.
"Oh yeah right. You're nothing but a wash-up!" A harpy laughed, glaring down at the Gremlin. "What do you even know about these things?"
"Those are Kaglium-alloy suppressors, with a Black Mountain electrical system. Sub-military grade. So far, the electrical 'discouragement' they provide is only set to about 250 volts, which is just enough to give you guys a nasty shock. However, they can go up to 250 thousand volts, which is easily enough to kill anyone here. All it takes is a little pin in the relay to stop functioning and you're fried. Which, anyone with even a basic knowledge of engineering can do without any tools. And I happen to have a Ph.D in that field." She smirked at the harpy, tail thrashing once more.
"Y-you're bluffing." She took a step closer, allowing all of her teeth to show in her grin.
"Try me."

'Wow,' Midori felt like clapping, her eyes shining with admiration. 'Meela is so smart! I don't even know what she is talking about, but for some reason it still makes sense. I bet someone as smart as her can leave this place no problem, they wouldn't leave someone like her in this Asylum forever.!'
"What is going on here?" The four-armed demoness, Guard Mack, from before walked back inside the bathes. "S-s-she was threatening to mess with our bracelets!" One of the female inmates said, pointing a finger at Meela. "She was going to kill us! And that green haired one was going to eat us too!"
"What? I-I-I wasn't-"
"I wouldn't care even if these two went on some bloody rampage! Clean this bathroom or I'll make you all clean the toilets in the cells! Would you prefer that!? Or," Mark smirked, showing her fangs, "Maybe you'd prefer cleaning the bathrooms of Block D inmates? I heard Siseal the Dullahan wanted a new playmate. Or how about the Siren? Oh, I know something even better- Dr. Feelgood, maybe he needs help?"
"N-n-no please, we'll clean!" begged another female inmate. Midori titled her head at the threat. 'Block D? What's Block D? Now that I think about it...I stumbled upon Block C yesterday, this is Block B, and where I am is called Block A...What is Block D like I wonder...'

Meela grinned at Midori as she went back to cleaning, the wheels churning in her brain. If everyone was so terrified of Block D, that must be where the most dangerous inmates were held. Which meant that only the guards and the inmates themselves went there, and no one else. Shard, I think I may have just found us a hiding spot for materials! Now how to get up there... She scrubbed one of the walls, placing herself next to Midori.
"See hun, this is why we need to get ya some serious street cred. Then people like these mooks will leave ya alone! But, stealing food from that Block D Siren shoulda given you cred already. Do you remember what she was like?"
