"No no, go on, go on," Sigmund prodded gently. It was of imperative importance to know about Shard's first showing of temper in the Asylum, and to see if there would be a pattern as time progressed. "No one will know about what you say but me."
Shard didn't completely believe that Sigmund would keep it a secret, but considering there were so many witnesses at the cafeteria when it happened, it isn't really that secret. "Well, alright. Like I said, my memory was really weird. I went to go work with Dr. Bloodroot and some weird plants, but the problem is I don't remember any of it. I don't even remember what happened before that much anymore either. But after that I went to the cafeteria, you know, to go eat dinner. Then one of my buddies had a run-in with someone from her past, and since I have a pact with her and all, I had to help out."
Sigmund wrote the word "pact" with two lines underneath, and an additional note 'Ask about this later, when he is more confident with therapy. What is he getting in return for protecting this inmate?' He nodded and smiled to show he was paying close attention and get Shard to keep talking.
"But then, outta nowhere my vision turn into straight-up hallucinations, and everything looked even more monstrous than usual. I couldn't hear anything either, except this really dull high-pitched tone sort of like humming thing. She was wrapped in all of these weird tentacles and I tried to break her free, but it turns out I broke the dude's arm instead. It wasn't that bad for very long, but it got me really angry and dizzy. He kept trying to fight me and her, so of course I kept hitting back. I eventually knocked him down to the floor, and nearly flattened his face. To be honest, doc," Shard began to lower his voice, "I really enjoyed it. I hadn't had a decent fight in a while and it got the blood pumpin' like it always did before... heck, I didn't even get in trouble with the guards for it. So yeah, that happened." He scratched the side of his head, wondering if he was going to get some sort of punishment after the fact, unless Sigmund really was going to keep his word.
(Rieev, did you want to finish off the session with Sigmund?)
