The Operating Room is where inmates are sent to deal with the doctors and nurses. It is almost a gamble whenever an inmate is sent to the Operating Room, since the doctors can either be very helpful or downright sadistic.

Chamena sighed, leaning once again against Prion as they strode into the Operating Room. Her muzzle was in place once more, and this time they had put her in shackles. Ever since her... Relapse... she couldn't find the energy to even take care of herself, let alone think of what lay in store for her.
Well, maybe the Doctor can do something about this. Maybe they've found a way to fix me... The room itself gaped before her, shadows hiding instruments of science, healing, and destruction. Only a single operating table created a focal point.
(sorry for the really crappy entry, I'm tired and can't think straight)

A nurse stepped out of the shadows to greet the chained Siren. The nurse looked like a walking doll with lifeless eyes, it didn't help that her mouth was covered by a face mask, just like the doctors. "Dr. Bane will be here shortly, just please take a seat on the Operating table."
The nurse sent Prion away, to wait outside the door in the hall. "Do not worry, sir, your inmate will feel all better. Now come this way, Miss Chamena and lay down on the table while I get you ready."

Chamena did as she was told, although the fact that Prion had been sent outside started to worry her. The nurse unshackled her, only to loop ropes around her ankles and wrists.
"Don't worry, this is only for your own protection." My own protection? I don't like the sound of that... Fear welled up in her heart. There has to be something I can do... She hummed under her breath, letting the music float through the operating room. The nurse simply stared back at her with those disturbing eyes.
"That's very nice, Miss Chamena, but I'm going to have to ask you to stop. Dr. Bane isn't a big fan of music."
It didn't work?!? Just what is she?!

"Now, come over here Miss Chamena." The Nurse pulled the Siren over to the Operating Table and forced her to lay down. She takes the 3 large belts that were attached to the table and proceeded to put them around her ankles, her legs, and then her chest. She couldn't move her legs now and her tied wrists and the belt around her chest prevented her from using her arms.
The nurse proceeded to undo the mask on Chamena's face, and stared at her from above, "The muzzle will get in the way of Dr. Bane's operation- I hope you don't mind. Just don't sing, or I will have to numb you!" The nurse said cheerily. "Nurse, is the patient ready?"
"Yes, Dr. Bane."
"Good. Can you bring out my supplies, Nurse? What the other Doctor's use in the rooms is just not my style. I don't like dealing with the mess of blood." Stepping out from a curtain at the corner of the Operating Room was a man in the typical white lab coat and face mask. It was difficult to tell what he was- he could be demon or elf but you couldn't determine that unless you checked his mouth for fangs and back for a tail. At this point, though, it didn't matter.
"Now, this is Chamena from Block D. I've heard a lot about you, my dear. You're one of the few female inmates we have up there! And the only Siren locked up here, from what I can see. Tell me, Sirens have such pretty voices, correct?" The nurse rolled in a cart that contained large bottles of different liquids, along with a funnel that was connected to a hose. "Let's see what we can do to make it better." the doctor said with a slimy tone.
"Nurse, put the gag around her mouth." The nurse nodded and took a surgical mouth gag and proceeded to place it around Chamena's mouth, letting the the metal at the top and bottom went inside her mouth, forcing her to open it as wide as possible. "It is done, Doctor."
"Make sure to keep her relax, we don't need her to cause us any trouble. I don't want her ruining my fun!" Dr. Bane proceeded to take the hose and shoved the open end into Chamena's mouth while holding the funnel up high. "I've always wondered what kind of liquids a Siren can handle." The Doctor laughed. His free hand gestured to the nurse to give him the nearest bottle.
Taking it from her, he loked over the name. Dr. Bane smirked, "Let's start with something gentle: a cup of milk, isn't that good for the voice?" Carefully, he poured the milk down the funnel. After it was long gone, he waited a few seconds to make sure it all went down. "Nurse, next bottle," he ordered with a snap of his fingers. The nurses quickly handed him a random bottle from the group. "Awww, it's only the drain water from the pipes in the bathrooms. I thought we were going to get something fun." Dr. Bane poured the water down the funnel, "Oh well, we still have 10 more bottles to go, we'll find something that will help you, Chamena!"

Oh gods no, he wants to destroy my voice! He's not going to help me at all! Chamena tried her hardest not to thrash around as the milk was poured down her throat. Wait, milk coats the vocal chords, that's why we Sirens never drink it! That's it! I'll dehydrate it internally and make a coating. This sick bastard's probably going to use acid at some point, so I just need to act like it's affecting me. Then, I just need to survive... She closed her eyes as she dehydrated the milk, then the drain water after it. She let a little bit of the excess water leak out of her eyes, to make it look like she was crying as she twitched a little for effect. Oh please, Thalassa Queen of the Seas, please let me get out of here in one piece!

Thanks to the face mask, Chamena couldn't see the scowl that was forming on Bane's face. She could see the fire in his eyes though. "Are thosefake tears!? I HATE FAKE TEARS!" as he screamed, he shoved the hose even deeper down the Siren's mouth. "I DON'T WANT A FAKE SHOW, I WANT A REAL PERFORMANCE!" He made a gesture to the nurse who handed him another bottle. Pouring the content down the funnel, the strong scent of Vinegar swept through the room. "I wonder how much Vinegar I have to pour down a Siren's throat until they choke." He said before letting out a muffled laugh.

She tried her best not to retch as the hose scratched the back of her throat. A gurgled cry somehow managed to claw its way out of her, making her flinch as it opened her lungs up for the vinegar. It burned horribly as it went down, her chest aching as she forced herself not to cough. The lining she'd put around her vocal chords started to deteriorate. Real tears leaked out of her eyes, her hands clawing into fists. This is it. I can't control my body much longer. I'm going to have to cough, these wretched fluids will flood my lungs, and I'll be dead at best, completely crippled at worst. She allowed herself a small cough and a whimper once the last of the vinegar had drained out of the funnel.
Her skin crawled, scales slowly starting to emerge. No! If I turn into a monster, I'm as good as dead! They'll never let me live if I ended up killing one of the doctors! She trashed even harder as the spikes for her fins began protruding further away from her body.

Hours passed as Doctor Bane continued to pour various liquids down Chamena's throat. After the vinegar there were only seven bottles left, and the doctor made he sure he dumped ever last drop into her. After the vinegar, the next bottle was blood from a mix of different monster- most likely drained from previous inmates. The one after that was filled with cleaning chemicals used to wipe the floors.
"Yes, drink it all- DRINK IT ALL! You will feel so much better when your tummy is filled with liquids!"
After that, though, Doctor Bane seemed to have stopped caring about what he was going to pour down her throat, and just poured the next four bottles without warning.
"Do you feel better, now? Do you my little Siren? Liquids are, after all, the best cure for our problems! Liquids can do so many wonderful things!" Doctor Bane declared with a sadistic laugh. As the last bottle emptied out, disappointment was evident in the doctor's eyes.
"Oh, it seems we have reached the last drop. How are you feeling? How's your throat?" His voice suddenly became soft, all hints of sadism completely gone.

Chamena stared up at him, her eyes raw from crying and from the fumes of the liquids Dr. Bane had pumped into her. Wind whistled in her chest as she struggled to breathe. She tried to speak, forcing air through her aching throat. Nothing but a pathetic squeak came out. Her eyes widened as she tried again. This time, barely even that squeak emerged. She closed her eyes, her entire body slumping in defeat.
Let's see if you believe this performance, Doctor... The smallest bit of a protective coat still lined her vocal cords. True, a few parts had been damaged, but nothing that a little time and a lot of water couldn't fix. But, she'd have to wait, just bide her time until she could get even. And even then, it would be a long time before the damage of those awful chemicals could be reversed.

"Awww, the look on your face." Dr. Bane cooed, still standing over her as the nurse slowly removed the metal device that was keeping her mouth open. Chamena's mouth couldn't be free forever though, as the nurse put her muzzle back on soon afterwards. "I'll go get her guard, doctor."
"Please do, please do." Bane said, shooing the nurse outside. "You have such a wonderful singing voice- I almost don't want to just use liquids on it." He ran his gloved fingers over her throat, "I almos want to slit it open and see what makes them so wonderful! But that's not my thing, not anymore at least. Such a messy act I'll leave for another doctor. Now, bye-bye."
With a very wave of his hand, the doctor rolled the cart with the empty bottles with him back to the room he came out of. Most likely he was going to refill them for the next patient.
The door slowly creaked open, "Chamena, your guard is here. You'll be happy to know that it is morning. We've kept you down here for such long hours- I apologize. Dr. Bane tends to do that."

The moment the restraints were off of her, Chamena bolted off the tables. However, after the long hours of her legs being strapped tightly to the table, they instantly gave out on her.
"Chamena--what?!" Prion caught her just before she hit the ground. "Love, what did they do to you?" She looked up at him, tears flowing once more. Every part of her body ached. She tried to whisper, make any sort of sound, but only a pathetic wheeze came out. "They... They destroyed your voice, didn't they?" She just looked down. I don't want to lie to him, but it's better this way... She gestured for a piece of paper and a pen. Prion pulled a notepad out of his pocket. She took it, scribbling on the paper. Can I please go back to my cell? I need to sleep.
"Yes of course love. Come on, let's get you back home." He picked her up. She clung to his neck, falling asleep as she was carried back to her cell. Prion gently placed her into her bed, pushing her bangs off of her forehead. "I'm so sorry, love. I'm so so sorry..."

Ayaka walked down to the Operating Rooms, she just wanted to get this day over with. She just knew that the day was going to leave her covered in fluids that she would rather not describe. She was about halfway down the hall when she noticed that the Pari was walking behind her "Do you have to be down here also, or are you just following me?" she asked curious about the other females behavior.
"Hm? No I'm not following you, I just have my check-up today, that fact that your down here also is just a coincidence." Lilli shrugged and walked pass the Snow Woman, ready to get her check up over with. She might even see her again. "Maybe I'll see you two later then" she said gesturing to both Ayaka and Shard before disappearing around the corner.
"At least she's more tolorable that the other females I've met here so far, even if we are opposites in everything." Then she continued down the hall to get ready to work.

Shard had followed close behind the other two, Oberon having left after seeing them leave the elevator and go in the right direction. It was up to nurses now to tell them what their jobs would be.
"She does seem to be rather proper, at least with how she handles Puck," Shard replied. "It must be annoying getting flirted with all the time. I'm probably going to have to tell him a thing or two about getting ladies in a more suave way..." wait what was he even thinking. He doesn't just give out his most precious advice to anyone!
They reached the end of the hall that had several doorways, going into stockrooms or the check-up rooms themselves. He wondered how many people would have to see the doctors today.
