Lilli walked out of the elevator and walked into the large corridor outside of the office. On the walls, and on pedestals, were statues of what looked like inmates from over the years, she even recognized a few of them from her time here. She took a deep breath and stood outside the office door, seeing as she couldn't go in without an appointment, and yelled for Puck. "Hey Puck, I want to talk to you! همین الان بیا بیرون لطفا!"

"So you're planning to leave the Asylum? Such a shame. It's hard to find a guard who could get along as well with that tree golem as you did." Cerberus said as he lead Habhara to his office.
Cerberus' office was a little more roomy than one would expect, with the simple desk, a lamp and two chairs as the only real pieces of furniture in the room. There were numerous drawers along the walls, all containing the records of guards and inmates. Right behind the desk was also a giant window that was ordained with maroon curtains that have clearly met with Cerberus's wrath.
The main thing that stood out in his office were the numerous portraits, with certain items or body parts hanged near them, along the wall. They were of the different inmates that Cerberus defeated in the Arena. The little items that were next to each portrait were Cerberus' 'trophies', something he takes after he's won a battle.
If one took the time to count they would find that there were at most 157 portraits. And those were only the portraits that Cerberus took pride in.
"I have your paperwork already out. You just have to help me find a good guard for Moortimier. Now I have a few candidates from the Pit that Campe suggested, but it's your job to make the final call." Cerberus said as he took his seat behind the desk and presented Habhara with ten folders, one being his and the other nine belonging to other guards.
Helix, create a new guard for Moortimier!

Puck lifted his head from the pile of paper and rubbed his throat. "Damn, his throw just gets better and better." Suddenly he heard a voice coming from behind the office doors. Puck listened closely to figure out who it was, and when the voice started speaking in a different language, it finally hit him. "Oh, it's Lilli," Puck smirked "wonder what she wants."
"...Friend of yours?" the demon boy asked, helping Puck out of the pile, not to be nice but so that he could clean it up.
"You could say that." Puck said, before walking toward the door. Not feeling like opening it, he simply walked right through and came face to face with an irritated pari.
"Hey, sleep well?" Puck grinned.

Lilli narrowed her eyes at the sand man, "No I did not, thanks to you not making any noise in the asylum last night." She then lifted her arm and punched him through the face and stomach to vent some of her frustration on the being that caused her to me irritable in the first place. "You do not live in an asylum for fifty years and get used to quiet, you get used to noise, and lack of said noise makes it impossible for me to sleep." She breathed deeply and then asked, Why didn't you make any noise last night anyway?"
Ryu pulled on her restraints to keep her from punching him again....right in front of the office

"Oh, this has nothing to do with Moort," Habhara repeated, a little embarrassed. "I do like him, don't get me wrong. Even when he's about to beat someone up, he stays incredibly calm. He's never defied anything I've told him to do. And he'd be a pretty good buddy, circumstances not being what they were." He remembered his query about getting his leg braces changed and how he had never actually done that, always feeling a little guilty about it. He mentally braced himself before speaking. "If you don't mind me asking sir, Moort's been concerned about his leg braces. They're not big enough to let him clean it out, and his bark is rotting. Just something I wanted to mention, for future reference."
While waiting for Cerberus' response, he looked through the files that Campe pulled out. It needed to be someone who wouldn't resort to brute force, but maybe has a good loud voice. Not many of the choices had a great deal of patience, so maybe it would be better to choose someone with a good sense of sarcasm. Hmm...he ended up at one file that caught his eye fairly well.
"I think Gaz might be the best one out of this pile."

"I'm sorry Habhara, but with the amount of inmates coming in, the engineers have been too busy making things for them instead of focusing on repair requests. I could bark at them as much as I want, but that's it." Cerberus apologized before taking the Gaz's folder.
"You sure about this? The guy is basically like Puck, except he can't do any of that magical shit and he actually knows when to shut up. But I trust your judgement. I'll give him a call after you choose to leave. I already got a few of the cleaning ladies to empty your room before you roommates get back from shift. Guaranteed, by the time you step on the boat off this island everyone would think you disappeared." Cerberus put aside Gaz's folder before looking at Habhara's. He took out a pen and started signing and marking a few things. He then took out another piece of paper and slid it over to him. "This is a contract stating that you agree to not disclose any information about the Asylum to anyone no matter the circumstances. In addition, you must cut off all contact with everyone on this island. The moment you step out, you're no longer welcomed back in. Understood?"

Puck only groaned when Lilliana punched him in his face and stomach. He liked his pajama shirt, and now there were three holes in it! Before he could speak, Puck had to repair his face since Lilliana left a dent. "Hey, hey, hey- you actually expect me to keep it up every night? I have dreams too, ya' know!" Puck grinned, "But hey, since you can only sleep when I'm around, that must mean you really like me- riiight?"

"I guess you're right about him being a bit like Puck, but Gaz does have a better sense of responsibility, to the Asylum at least. It'll be good for Moort if he can watch Gaz and Puck spar every once in a while, because I'm sure Moort and Gaz'll take the same sides," he chuckled. "Moort's been pretty down, so he's gonna need an annoying youngster to keep him on his roots."
He looked at the final piece of the puzzle as Cerberus slid the paper across the desk. "Absolutely, sir," he said, the first time today he had been a little somber. "No personal offense, but I've too many sleepless nights here. I'm afraid if I didn't leave I might end up a patient myself," he confessed. "I thought it might go away and it's come and gone over the years, but it's gotten pretty bad as of late. I'm not as cut out for this job as I used to be." Such a constricting job never fit his personality of being a hermit by nature, and it was always too noisy in the asylum.
With those thoughts, he took a pen and flourished his signature at the bottom of the contract.

"Hey, it happens. Very few guards last a year here without losing their morality, or their life. You've lasted far enough, I can even see you holding on to the last bit of sanity you got. You're a good man, so I'm willing to let you go." He took the contract and looked over it.
"Alright, now there's only one last thing you have to do. You'll have to talk to him." If you had keen eye sight, you could see Cerberus shiver a little. He moved from the back of his desk and left his office, prompting Habhara to follow.
"Where the hell is Puck!?" he yelled. The demon boy gestured to the door, "He's outside talking to someone."
"Tell him to get his sorry ass in here before I drag him back here myself, make him do his job, and then run his body through a grater until all that's left of him are little specks of sand that I'm going to use in my FUCKING HOUR GLASS."

"I dunno, I'm rather tempted to see how well he keeps time as an hourglass," Habhara said coolly. He left the office following after Cerberus, and was led to the room with that ill-fated telephone. He didn't actually think he'd have to talk to the Asylum Head, considering Cerberus certainly has enough power around here. But with all that contract stuff, then it only made sense that everyone needs to know when someone is willingly leaving. Most people usually take the easy route and get themselves killed.
"Do I have to wait for it to ring or do I just pick it up?" He had been a guard for twelve years and never once had to deal with the Head. At least he got to leave with the experience.

Suddenly the phone rang, and the two men grew silent and anxious. It continued to ring for the next minute or so, no stoping- as if it was taunting Habhara to pick it up and listen to who was on the other line. Habhara carefully reached over and answered it. At first it was just a few seconds of eerie white noise, but if you listen closely you could hear some sort of chanting.
"Erase...Erase...Erase your memories...Erase everything...You cannot just leave after all...Not with everything you know...So Erase....Erase...Erase...."
The white noise became louder and louder, the chanting repeated itself, becoming faster and faster. It was unsettling but despite that, Habhara could feel himself slowly becoming more light headed.

As much as he didn't want to listen to the infernal noise, Habhara didn't let go of the phone for fear of repercussions from the Asylum Head, and because it seemed almost impossible to. His breathing got a little louder, opening his mouth to take in more air. As the noise increased, he gripped the edge of the desk to stabilize himself because a huge sense of dizziness was flooding over him.
"How much longer?" he started saying, but his voice created feedback in the speaker, flinching at the squeal. Eventually the noise converged into one single signal.
"Goodbye."
And he fell to the floor.

Lilli looked at Puck like he ws crazy, "You of all people should know that I don't like anyone, I merely tolerate them to a point." She expelled a breath in frustration "And since when do sandmen need to sleep at night, hm?" She put her hand on her hips and stared down at him, almost wishing he had a soul to trick away from him.

Puck pouted, "I can sleep anytime I choose too, or have you forgotten, sweet cheeks, that I'm no ordinary sandman? I'm here for a reason you know! I'm not all cuddly and kind- hell, I ate a kid! Though she tasted really sweet- probably cause she was a fairy and was sprinkled with sparkles." Puck laughed, showing off his sharp, needle like teeth.
The demon from the office opened the door to speak to Puck. "Yo, Puck- Cerberus is pissed, he said something about using you in his hourglass if you don't get your ass back in here."
"Oh, the big guy done with dealing with Habhara?"
"Looks that way, they both just walked out of his office."
"So they talked to him already?"
"It's safe to say."
Puck shrugged "Alright, then I better get going. The last thing I want is both of them to be on my ass for not working. Back to the paperwork! See ya, Lilli. And by the way, I plan on gathering everyone today in the Cafeteria after work hours- you should join us. And I'll make a hell of a lot of noise tonight- the barks of the Hell Hounds will be so loud and all around, it'll be like a lullaby!" Puck waved to the pari as he phased through the office doors. The demon boy sighed.
"Why don't you use the door like everyone else who's not a poltergeist?"
"You know how boring that'll be? A guy like me needs to travel with style, man."
"Of course you do..."

Cerberus let out a sad sigh as he picked Habhara's unconscious body and threw him over his shoulder. "Attendent!" he called loudly. One of the soulless mannequin workers stood from their desk and entered the office. "Yes Cerberus."
"Has the boat arrived?"
"It is currently waiting at the docks. All the new inmates are currently being put into the trucks and are being driven here right now. New Pit inmates have also successfully been moved. Therefore it is safe for those ready to depart."
"Do you know which groups are departing from the island?"
"Only staff members and guards sent specifically for supplies. Specific instructions to not disclose any information about the Asylum have been sent out to them and the ship workers. All of his belongings have also been delivered to the ship and one of the Cleaners is holding on to his brand new clothes that we will change him into before he leaves."
"Excellant- can you please bring Habhara to the entrance, then?"
"Of course, sir."
Puck walked past the mannequin, looking at her and then looking at Cerberus. "....Did he kill him?"
"Nah- the fella is just knocked out. Attendent, do you know if Habhara has any living family members? He wasn't clear in his paperwork."
"I can check for that information."
"Please do. And if you find anyone, give them a call, tell the captain to drop him off at the nearest Port to their location and tell them to pick Habhara up there."
"So has his memory been replaced with 'helping the sick' again, or is it something actually interesting this time?" Puck asked, having seen this process a dozen times. Everyone in the Asylum, even staff members, were not allowed to tell their family about their job. They could tell people they were working at Hallow Asylum, but they were not allowed to say exactly what they did or what goes on.
"How the hell should I know? Now get in there and start working. And Attendent, tell one of your girlfriends to please call Gaz in. According to his paper, he should be guarding the Pit elevator."
"Understood." The mannequin bowed, before opening up her arms to accept the unconscious Habhara. Cerberus carefully placed him in her arms. The mannequin suddenly dissolved into a black shadow before disappearing, taking Habhara with her. Transportation was just one of the many abilities the mannequins have been programmed with, though it bewildered even Puck.
Cerberus was about to walk back into his office, but he took a minute to speak. "Puck..."
Puck tilted his head, "Yeah, Big Dog?"
"About Moortimier and the other guards...The only people who know what is going on are those in this Office and Campe, so...."
Puck shrugged, "I get it, I get it. I've done it before! I'll tell everyone that the Head Hunters killed Habhara because he was being suspicious. That always works."
Cerberus glared at the Sandman. He never enjoyed his arrogance or his attitude in general, but Puck was useful in that his blunt personality made everyone think he was telling the truth.
"Well, got to get going, right? The Head is probably pissed that I wasn't here to talk to him at this point." Puck grinned. Cerberus only let out a sigh before leaving the Head's office, closing the door behind him. Puck's grin slowly faded as he looked at the phone.
